Usually solar power is added onto existing homes or installed in custom homes one at a time. This is the first time in the Northwest that a large-scale homebuilder has committed to a solar-powered subdivision.
The developer, Legend Homes, built a 140 lot subdivision of efficient homes, all equipped with solar panels, in the neighborhood of King City near Portland. See the full story here.
